02 / Things I build

Small tools, considered closely

Built for
real life.

Travel plans, grocery lists, time on a phone. I like the small moments where a useful product can quietly make the day easier.

Three different problems.
One reason to build.

Each started with a familiar friction. The choices behind the interface matter as much as the interface itself.

Atlas

A travel planning agent that turns a loose trip brief into a researched itinerary, grouped hotel options, and map context.

The friction
Planning a good trip means piecing together research, routes, neighbourhoods, hotels and maps.
What I built
A planning agent that turns a plain-language brief into an itinerary with places grouped by proximity.
Where it stands
A private, allowlist-gated tool for friends and family.
Behind the build

AI travel planner — live at atlas.viggy.dev. Describe a trip in plain English and it streams back a researched itinerary, neighbourhood-grouped hotels with prefilled Booking links, and a clickable map. Allowlist-gated for friends and family.

Groceriser

A personal utility app exploring what on-device categorisation can make easier in daily life.

The friction
The things on a shopping list rarely fit neatly into one language or one category.
What I built
Shared lists, forgiving search and on-device categorisation for English, Tamil and Hindi items.
Where it stands
An iOS utility designed around the way a real household shops.
Behind the build

iOS 26 grocery app with multi-list sync, fuzzy search, and on-device LLM categorisation that recognises items in English, Tamil, and Hindi (e.g. vendakkai, bhindi, toor dal). Built in Liquid Glass.

Digital Zap

A privacy-preserving Screen Time utility for calmer phone habits: choose distracting apps, zap them into strict or reflective pause modes, and review the moments you tried to break through.

The friction
A gentle reminder is easy to dismiss when you are already reaching for a distracting app.
What I built
Screen Time controls with strict blocks or a reflective pause, plus schedules and attempt logging.
Where it stands
A privacy-conscious tool for setting clearer boundaries with a phone.
Behind the build

Screen Time-based iOS app for building strict blocking and pause-and-reflect modes, with manual starts, quick timers, recurring schedules, hidden recovery controls, and attempt logging through custom shield extensions.

Ideas need evidence.

In consulting, I help teams test what is worth building and plan what it takes to make it useful.
